| Details:燩acific Pulmonary Services 聽 JOB TITLE:聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Driver- Medical Equipment- Patient Care Technician REPORTS TO:聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Operations Manager 聽 聽 POSITION SUMMARY: Drivers are responsible for ongoing follow-up visits to patients鈥 homes and ensuring a safe environment for the use of their equipment.聽The Driver is the face of Pacific Pulmonary Services to our patients and an integral part of the success of each of our locations 聽 As a Driver you will spend your day, working directly with patients in their homes 鈥揹elivering and setting up respiratory medical equipment. Our Drivers perform routine equipment checks and ensure patients鈥 complete comprehension of oral and written instructions. Delivering, setting-up and servicing equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and company policy and procedures. Instruct the patient on the safe and proper use of the equipment being delivered. Performing safety inspections to ensure that the equipment is working properly. Verify patient compliance with oxygen and nebulizer medications. Completing all paperwork promptly and accurately to support the delivery and billing functions of the company. Continuous communications with all operations and sales team members. 聽MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service environment. Must have strong people skills and an interest in helping to improve the lives of others. A valid driver鈥檚 license with no moving violations or accidents. Ability to lift and load equipment into and out of delivery vehicles and patient homes. We seek common-sense individuals who have the desire to help others and contribute to the growth of our business. 聽PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Time will be divided between sitting, standing, walking and up to 100% regional travel-generally in company vehicle. Ideal candidate will have excellent IV skills/PICC certified preferred but not required.聽 This position offers the high tech infusion nurse the ability to utilize her skills in an office setting.SummaryUnder the supervision of the Nursing Coordinator, the Staff nurse provides clinical nursing services and support, including patient education and patient management for their assigned group of physicians.聽 Staff nurses provide management of infusion referrals, coordinate home care with pharmacies, case managers and home health agencies, and maintain medical records relative to research enrollments and protocols.聽 Staff Infusion nurses also participate in the practice鈥檚 call schedule, providing telephone response for the patients after hours and on weekends, and occasionally seeing patients in the office on weekends.聽Specific Duties (examples) 聽聽1)聽聽聽聽聽聽 Take infusion referrals from physician, complete referral forms and certificates of medical necessity, coordinate home care with pharmacy and home health nursing agency, monitor patients in infusion program.聽2)聽聽聽聽聽聽 Write out prescriptions at doctor鈥檚 order and communicate to pharmacies.聽3)聽聽聽聽聽聽 Receive and return patient and other鈥檚 telephone calls.聽4)聽聽聽聽聽聽 Take turn in the practice鈥檚 nursing call schedule, responding to telephone calls, meeting patients in the office on weekends, scheduling patients to come to the office as needed.聽5)聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in quality assurance and educational activities as requested.聽6)聽聽聽聽聽聽 Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs establishing priorities.聽 聽7)聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participates in activities to facilitate good interpersonal communications with facility.聽8)聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supports professional practice by observing the following: Uses knowledge and practices in accordance with 1) Standards of Nursing Practice; 2) Standards of Patient Care; 3) JCAHO, state and local laws; 4) MIDC policy.聽9)聽聽聽聽聽聽 Other duties and tasks as assigned. | ||||
